The name you give me, the email address, the phone number if you choose to write it, how you prefer to be contacted, and your message. Nothing more. I don't ask for identification data, I don't ask for payments through the site, and I don't have a user account.
Please don't write health details, diagnoses or treatments in the form. Not because they don't matter, but because a form sent over the internet is not the right place for them. What needs to be said, we say in the practice, where professional confidentiality exists and there is a framework that supports it.
I use them to reply to you and, if applicable, to arrange a first conversation. The legal basis is the preparation of a possible service relationship at your request, that is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
If we end up working together, the session data enters a separate framework, with stricter rules. There the basis is Article 9(2)(h) of the same regulation, which covers health services, along with the professional obligations laid down by Law 213/2004 and the Code of Ethics of the Romanian Psychologists' College. I'll explain this framework at the first session, before you sign anything.
Messages sent through the form reach me via Netlify, which forwards them to my email address. The site is hosted by Netlify. The page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google's servers when you open the site.
Apart from these, no one. I don't sell data, I don't give it to advertising companies, and I don't use it for ads. I can disclose it to an authority only if the law obliges me to, and only to the extent required.
Messages received through the form, if no collaboration follows, are deleted within at most twelve months. If we start working together, the session file is kept according to the professional standards of the Psychologists' College and the legal archiving obligations, and I'll tell you the exact duration at the first session.
The site doesn't use tracking cookies, has no advertising pixels, and doesn't measure your behaviour on pages. There is nothing you need to approve in order to read it.
You have the right to find out what data I have about you, to ask for it to be corrected, deleted or restricted in use, to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere, and to object to the processing. Where I've asked for your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and the withdrawal doesn't affect what happened until then.
You write to me and I reply within at most one month. If my answer doesn't seem right to you, you can contact the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, based in Bucharest, B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, sector 1, or at dataprotection.ro.
The devices I work on are encrypted and password-protected, email access is protected with two-factor authentication, and session notes are kept separately from contact data. If an incident nevertheless puts your data at risk, I notify the authority within 72 hours and I'll also notify you, if the risk to you is high.
The rules above come from personal data legislation. Above them stands professional secrecy, which is stricter: what you say in the practice stays in the practice. The exceptions are those provided by law, in situations concerning your safety or someone else's, and I'll tell you about them from the start, not when they arise.
When I change this page, I also change the date at the top. It's worth re-reading it if you send me a message after a long while.
