I didn't start with psychology.

My first profession was as a university lecturer, in the field of law.

What it means to work integratively

Everyone comes with something different. One person needs to understand where what's happening to them comes from. Another needs something concrete to do by next week. Another needs to settle down first, before they can talk about what brought them there.

My training in integrative psychotherapy covers several approaches, and for each person I choose what fits what they bring. Technique helps, but what matters more is how seen and safe you feel while we work. I work with the whole person: with what they think, what they feel, what happens in their body, and the way they live. All of these connect to one another, even if it doesn't seem so at first.

You don't adapt to the method; the method adapts to you.

The other half of the journey

I'm a university professor with a doctorate in law, at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Administrative Sciences in Craiova, Spiru Haret University. I teach and do research in the field of private law.

It has no direct link to what we do in the practice, and my PhD is not in psychology. I mentioned it because it explains where I come from, and because years of teaching taught me something I use every day: how to explain a complicated thing in simple words, without simplifying it.

About coaching.
I'm trained in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and in NLP Coaching at Master Coach level.

I also work in coaching, for clarity in decisions, personal and professional goals, and performance.

It's important to know that neuro-linguistic programming and coaching are activities I keep separate from integrative psychotherapy.

About iMatch.
I'm also the founder of iMatch International, an agency that looks for the right life partner based on who a person really is, not on who they seem to be at the start.

It's a project separate from the practice: in the agency I work with people looking for a relationship, and at the practice, among other things, with people who want to understand why they always end up in relationships that finish the same way.
